Upcoming Trips for Internationalisation Experience (TIE): Gearing Up for Vietnam (2-6 Nov) & China (9-14 Nov).
30 October 2026
Our Secondary 3 students are gearing up to represent Queensway on their upcoming TIE journeys to Vietnam (2–6 Nov) and China (9–14 Nov). Through pre-trip learning journeys, industry explorations, and upcoming school exchanges, students are set to broaden their global perspectives and 21st-century competencies.
As part of our commitment to nurturing future-ready students with global perspectives, our secondary 3 students will soon embark on their TIE journeys to Vietnam (Hanoi & Hai Phong) and China (Shanghai & Suzhou) this November!
While overseas, our students will experience immersive cultural exchanges, visit historical landmarks, and engage in meaningful interactions with local school communities. In preparation for these immersive journeys, our students have also been actively involved in pre-trip research and team discussions.
The Vietnam cohort recently completed an insightful learning journey to Jurong Port—Singapore's premier multi-purpose port. Students gained firsthand exposure to the vital logistics infrastructure managing breakbulk, project cargo, and essential raw materials such as cement and steel that support national development, providing them with key context before they visit Vietnam's Lach Huyen Terminal to understand more about our ASEAN neighbour's economy.
Concurrently, the China cohort engaged in interactive discussion sessions exploring emerging tech ecosystems, smart retail, and robotics, before they visit some of the tech companies in China.
We look forward to our students broadening their horizons, enhancing 21st-century competencies, and representing Queensway with pride!
