Direct School Admission for 2027 Intake

Queensway Secondary School welcomes applications from Primary 6 students in the current academic year to participate in the Direct School Admission (DSA-Sec) Exercise. Parents and students are encouraged to choose schools wisely based on the student’s aptitudes and strengths, bearing in mind the school’s academic and non-academic requirements and the programmes available to develop the area of talent.

We offer the following DSA talent areas for the 2027 intake. You can find out more on the CCAs listed from the CCA page.

Talent Areas and Selection Criteria

Sports	Badminton	Girls	Applicants should preferably^[2] have represented their school in the sport at the zone or national levels and / or have outstanding sporting achievements and demonstrate passion and aptitude for the selected sport.	Shortlisted applicants will be invited for an interview and trial at our school between early July to the end of August.

Performing Arts	Choir	Boys, Girls	Applicants should preferably^[2] have represented their school in the SYF, and / or have participated in the performing arts with external organisations and demonstrate passion and aptitude for the selected performing arts.	Shortlisted applicants will be invited for an interview and trial at our school between early July to the end of August.

[1] Please note that meeting all the criteria does not guarantee the student will be shortlisted / given an offer. Due to different profiles of applicants, selection / shortlisting trends may differ year on year.

[2] Applicants who do not have prior experience may also apply. The school will assess applicants based on the selection criteria, which may include assessing the potential of the applicants.

Students who are successfully admitted to the school via DSA are expected to honour their commitment to the school and join the respective CCA related to the talent they are selected for throughout their 4-5 years in Queensway Secondary School.
